The horror of trees

Image
Man I should have set up email notifications too! This blog is awesome. I'm changing the theme to something else though. Maybe something with... spooooky treeeeeees Short life update! I'm still working at UBC, but everything I am really truly excited about is not at all related to education. Perhaps I should work on changing careers. Last year was a very exciting year where I got featured on my favourite board game show, shut up & sit down, and we kickstarted a comic anthology that I am published in! Whoa!! Here  is that kickstarter (which is over, but if you are interested in getting a copy I can hook you up with an extra) and below is my SU&SD episode... NoĆ©mi is in it too! Speaking of which we are still together and very happy. There will probably be an engagement announcement coming reasonably soon. Now that I've said it here, out loud, on the internet, you can hold me to it - but nobody else will find it but you fine friends, and you four spam robots o

A Promise Shaken

The subtitle of this blog says I said I promised a post every 6 months. That was a down-right lie in hindsight. But hey, it got me writing this post. I guess I'll talk about my life a bit. it'll be short. It's short since there's not much I'm doing except working at Novramedia, getting more involved with church, and am planning to visit Korea in the next month or so. For 2 or 3 weeks! First time in 18 years. I see David and Ben from time to time when they're at Toronto, but I'm not very mobile myself, especially recently, getting more church time on the weekends. I also see Adam on the big screen (my right screen, which incidentally is the same size as my left screen) playing some fine games lately. FINE games, sir. The first thing I thought when I saw when you were playing FFVI was "whoever suggested this to Adam, I like them." Now I know who it is, and I approve wholeheartedly. Uh back to my life. My life is taking over, so I'm going
Wow, this thing is so old. I'm gonna write something here later. To talk about my life! Just like I did when we were angst filled teenagers. Don't forget to tag your posts.

Yo bama

Wow, this old blog has drastically changed since its inception about... 1 trillion years ago. Blogger is way different now. A few posts ago I was super excited to be moving to Toronto. XD I live in Vancouver now. I have for over half a year now. It's amazing how fast time moves... I work at UBC doing LMS support and dev work. I love it there, and I love the people. It's fantastic. I'm about to move into a new apartment, something more permanent than the pre-furnished temporary rent I've had recently. So I'm apartment hunting again and that's fun. Can't wait for Allen's wedding on the 18th of May. I'm coming back a week and a day before that for preparations and seeing friends. I wonder if anyone will ever read this. XD

This blog...

Ahahaha. Oh this blog. Buh, not much happening around these parts, eh? Anyone know when Allen's wedding will be? Raddits.

Hey it's working

Holy shit!! I was trying to make a post before but it wasn't working but now it's workiniinnnnggg???!?! what the diiiiiicks

Hey, an update from out west!

Word up. I am still alive!? I didn't really expect to see this blog still alive, so this is pretty crunk. I guess the cool thing to do these days is talk about my life, since most of you haven't talked with me for a long while. The education scoop is that I am finishing my degree this year. Which is exciting. Next year I will likely be living in Lethbridge, back at school, doing an after-degree in Education. Lethbridge is close enough to Calgary, about a two and a half hour drive away. I am pretty pumped to move out there, as I plan on getting my own place and hopefully not having any roommates. This is exciting for various reasons. My job at the lab is still there, but I rarely work more than a couple shifts in a month, so I have been trying to find a tutoring job, but so far the places I applied haven't contacted me back. Which is kind of lame. In a few years I should be teaching though, and that is awesome. Yea, and that is that. Somebody should tell Allen, Dave and Sam
