Bus passes
Yes Adam, I know that Western includes those in tuition, but my guess is that your tuition is much higher than mine. This year I pay $5100 for a full course load.
Anyway, fronting $70 a month is a lot cheaper than car insurance would be. On monday I go all out on the telephone and handin out resumes.... ($14/hour for demolition... !!!!!) There are lots of jobs in Calgary that will pay well. The only question is do I have what I will need (steel toed boots etc)
Once I find myself a job though, it will be awesome cuz then I will know when I don't work and I can pop on over to Ken's place; he said it could become another home for me should I need a break from my current house.... and I will inevitably visit my old friends; hopeF just ring their doorbell and have them gawk at my presence if the recognise me... in any event I am pumped. Oh and Ken has msn, so I may be on occasionally though it will likely be later; 11:00 or so for you guys considering the time lapse. It is 10:40 here now, and it doesn't feel like it should be 12:40, so I guess I've gotten used to the difference already.
ps I am going to give myself +50 awesome points for checking here regularly.
Believest I that that is all my current news.
Adam - Hey, then I also deserve at least 50 awesome points. Of the positive variety, obviously. I was just waiting/hoping for someone else to jump in with a comment, but either they aren't around here or they just don't have much to say at the moment.
Well *I* do... where's Sam?! SAM! Get BACK here, kid! ...I'm hoping he reads the blog at this point. We gotta set up trip-type stuff!
On that note, I'm wondering how busy everyone is this upcoming weekend. David is not and is currently keeping it free, that is all I know thus far. Allen/Dan/Sam, if you do read, please let me know. And Peter, let us know when you do find yourself some work.
Dan - Sorry guys, I've been on a family trip since Sunday if you didn't know... but there's nothing planned for me this weekend, Adam. Also, yes, I do check this regularly, but I haven't replied much... I blame laziness.
On a late note, Hooray for Peter arriving at Calgary safely! I hope you use that bridge regularly.
And is the laser-thingy going to happen tomorrow? Or is there something else going on?
Peter - I'm still amazed that Dan doesn't type with an accent.
