In Calgary
Hello guys, I have made it to Calgary . !!!! . This connection is slow. Slow like Dan Jo in the winter. But I am here, and tomorrow I go to the university, and get bus passes, and job hunt.
And for the love of winemaking, treat everything you do this summer like a 10 car highway wreck.
Peter out.
ps I have no instant messengers right now....
pps this is for Dan; remember this next time are on a bridge.
Adam - WOO what up, Peter! Good to hear stuff's goin' like it should. What compy were you using? Anyway, today I totally got my G2, so yay for me. Someday I'll drive all the way out there to visit.
Peter - it's good to see somebody checks this regularly.... I am using the comp at my house. Apparently the connection is decent but the hardware is... unsatisfactory. with 63MB RAM, and an intel celeron processor that it doesnt tell me its speed... but I was using the university computers today and they are nice, although the keyboards are awkward...
and dang, buses are expensive. $70 each month for a bus pass. it is worth it considering how often i will use it, but that is pricey. I found a bunch of great looking jobs in the paper and tomorrow i will pump out resumes and phone calls etc. good luck to me!
Adam - Good luck to you indeed. And to me too, I'm still pumping out resumes myself, hoping to get lucky at some point. Also, I'll keep checking regularily so long as you reply regularily, and it looks like that be the case. Oh, one more tidbit; Western gives us bus passes for the whole school year as part of tuition. Not that I'd need it as I'll have the Impala now. And of course, not that I'm rubbing that in or anything. :P Hm, I just watched the film Flightplan, you know, Jodie Foster, Sean Bean. It was pretty cool. One of the smarter (maybe even smartest?) heroines I've seen in recent thriller films.
