WHAT a NIGHT.

Lemme tell you boys, that was pretty spectacular. My eye was totally infected though, and it got worse overnight, and today it's brutal. We've constructed a device to rectify the infection, and at the same time it also disguises my ugliness.



Yes, it's probably just an excuse to look like a pirate. But dangit eyepatches are cool. I'ma have to keep this on today and potentially tomorrow... gah, as much as this is interesting I seriously do NOT want to look like this at school. But I don't want to look like a derranged lunatic either... it's starting to feel/look better when I do dare check so it may be well enough.

But PROM, holy snap 'n' crap. I wanna hear more about the dancin' aspects of it, I didn't partake in those as much. As you already know. Heh. Heh.

Best night EVER...
Sam - Yeah. The weather was so shit on Saturday, just rained all day. Like, seriously, it didn't stop. But the ride on the Griffon helicopter was pretty freakin' sweet, almost (allllmost) made the weekend worth it. Kinda really freakishly tired now tho, so don't be suprised if I'm of limited usefulness on MSN today...

Peter - um, the dancing aspect was like every other dance of the year, just longer. I knew none of the songs, except the macarena. apparently what you were doing was way better anyway, and you can't say that (validly) without any sort of justification as to what you could possibly talk about for 5 hours. *raises the oh so inquisitive eyebrow*

It's one of those days I SERIOUSLY look forward to. You know? You know? Aaaah you get it. Or maybe not actually. So on Tuesday we're goin' to Canada's Wonderland, just the me and the Allen and the Jo. ...We may be joined there by Meg and a friend or two of hers but maybe not, either way it's WONDERLAND man. WOW. Can't WAIT. It'll be Allen's mum that drives us up and back, not sure when we're leaving but we'll actually be able to stay closer to the close of the park and not have to worry about missing an earlyish bus that costs a fortune and being dropped off at a Greyhound station downtown at one-thirty AM. So, listening to music made me go WHOA. Adam knows, I stuttered and spewed out a bunch of whoa's like crazy. Two songs mainly, the ones that put me into a stupor as I listened to them. Both by Underoath, which is one of my favourite bands right now.. the first song was "Young And Aspiring" the other is "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape" neither of these are on purevolume.. I don't know where else to find free music... but the lyrics for th second one are here So if you manage to find a copy of it and the desire to listen to it, read them lyrics as it goes. 'Young and Aspiring' is much more typical Underoath, almost the entire song is screamo, but not unintelligible. Don't be so scared of screamo Adam, it is a style of singing because it is melodic.
