Yah, hi!
I somehow doubt all of the last post is of the utmost truth. Especially the one about me NOT READING THIS. THIS.
Also, at the moment, Google Map scared me again, by showing me a person's view of a backyard at a house in Japan. AHHHHHHHHH.
Although I agree a bit with Adam down there 3 posts ago, I also agree that computer games will never go away, as much as Nintendo games aren't going away, just because they're for casual gamers. Add to that the possibility of the best graphics experience available out there, and there'll always be people like current David who would want that. But you probably knew this already, and I'll stop since I gotta make this short. Currently working at the RMC (Royal Military College).
Speaking of RMC, I gotta say it's really interesting working for the government. And more interesting to be surrounded by people with camo uniforms all day. (The employees are not required to wear these, for the best I think) I'll definitely need to give a longer description of the experience of RMC and Kingston later, but for now I'll say that it's cold here. Surrounded at 3 sides by water, really.
In light of my laziness last term, and the consequent failing of a CS class because I didn't hand in enough assignments, I probably learned a lot. -> Don't procrastinate too much.
I also need a better computer. Ragnarok Online lags with 2 clients on. And it's a 5 year old game. With 2-D sprites (partially 3-D background, though). And I see frame skips while I'm watching animes full-screened.
From the above paragraph you can see what I do most of the time. I think I have to learn php to do my job though, so I might devote more time to that.
Also, I'm scared of this job. It's not a computer support job, but I do web development. I'm selecting/making an image organizer for the RMC website, (their portal, more accurately), so I get this one project I'll work on this whole term. It's kinda fascinating, but scary. A bit too much responsibility for my current taste.
I still really like games. I also learned that I really still like music too, after not being in a band for 3 years, I'm really missing those times in high school, when we used to play things for fun, and had some good music. Good ol' times. Currently desiring a trumpet to practise.
Oh yeah, more on Kingston later, I better get back to work now. Bye bye~
*EDIT* Quote of the day:
"okay who stole my eyeballs and replaced them with painspheres because I really do not appreciate it"
