First Post Of The Day
So, iss story time for ya.
I was browsin' ye ol' Unviersity of Calgary course calendar, checking out what I can take, maybe find some electives that are appealling. So I'm browsing by subject area (because my electives can be any area as long as I qualify) and I see the subject area "University" now, I know I'm going to a university.... but subject area = university? Not science... or art... or language... or anything....
So, naturally I was curious. The first course description I found was for UNIV 301. The course subtitle is 'The Poisoned Pen' The course description is: "Consideration of poisons from two different perspectives, science and literature. Using a problem-based approach, students will not only learn what makes a poison effective but also the essence of good story-telling."
The URL for the disbelieving is: http://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar/2006/what/courses/UNIV.htm
It sounds pretty crazy....
So I just wanted to mention that.... I'm out.
